Custom Software Development

We specialize in solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio. This allows us to quickly create applications that can be used on the Web, PC or PocketPC. Our database solutions use Microsoft SQL server. Our development and test platforms use Microsoft Virtual server to duplicate your environment and network topography during the development and testing phases. We have found that this makes the deployment of our applications go much smoother.  

Microsoft SQL Server support

Faria Associates also provides SQL server setup and support. If you think you're too small to use SQL server technology, think again. Faria Associates can install and train you on many of the products that are available today to review and report your data. Remote database administration can be provided regularly or on an as needed basis. This means lower cost of ownership because you won't need to keep an expensive DBA on staff.

Crystal Report development and support

We use Crystal Reports from Business Objects for our database reporting. Crystal Reports has been an industry standard for years.  For automated reporting, we recommend Crystal Enterprise which allows for the scheduled delivery of your reports. Enterprise also offers a rich API to allow access from within your custom applications.
